Fishing for Answers: Making Sense of the Global Fish Crisis

The purpose of this report is to explore answers to questions about whether coastal ecosystems are nearing collapse and whether we are really running out of fish. The authors aim to help consumers, environmental organisations and policy-makers to deepen their understanding of the issues around global fisheries and find their roles in creating a political and economic environment that will foster sustainable fisheries.
