European Trawlers are Destroying the Oceans

This report examines the practices of the European Union fishing fleet, which is made up of almost 100,000 vessels, fishing in EU waters and international waters. In particular the report documents the impacts of the 15,000 deep sea trawlers which the authors believe are over-exploiting marine resources and irreversibly damaging some of the most productive and biodiverse ecosystems on the planet.
