This paper focuses on the work carried out by the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior in the waters South of Malta during summer 2007. The document exposes illegal fishing practises in what the author describes as one of the world‘s most threatened fisheries, the bluefin tuna fishery in the Mediterranean. The paper was presented to the European Parliament on 28 June 2007 at the hearing on the bluefin tuna fishery.
