SADC Ministerial Conference 20/05/2008 The SADC Marine Fisheries Ministerial Conference to Stop Illegal Fishing will take place over three days in Windhoek, Namibia 20-22 May 2008. The conference provides an opportunity for key regional and international players to come together to forge new approaches and to demonstrate their commitment to stop illegal fishing.
Day one offers the opportunity for all stakeholders to participate in technical sessions related to major IUU fishing themes.
Day two will focus on information sharing and the formulation of the Ministerial Declaration.
Day three will see keynote speakers addressing the conference as well as the expected announcement of the Ministerial Declaration.
