The Growth and Control of International Environmental Crime

A Chatham House workshop held on 10-11 December 2007, aimed at analysing the successes and failures of efforts to tackle environmental crime, in order to identify the most effective strategies and priorities for future interventions. Case studies and experiences were drawn from illegal trade in the following areas: endangered species, fishing, logging, ozone-depleting substances and hazardous waste and chemicals.
