Chatham House-WWF screening of "The End of the Line" 14/10/2009 To launch the international conference on illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, Chatham House and WWF will be hosting a screening of 'The End of the Line', the first major feature documentary film revealing the impact of overfishing in the world's oceans.
Filmed over two years, 'The End of the Line' takes a look at many of the key issues to be covered in the conference and follows the investigative reporter Charles Clover as he confronts politicians and celebrity restaurateurs, who exhibit little regard for the damage they are doing to the oceans.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Charles Cover, Nigel Edwards (Seachill), Nancy Gitonga (African Union Commission) and Sally Bailey (WWF).
This event is free and open to all with an interest in the topic, however, there are limited places available so please register to ensure your place.
A reception will be held from 18.00-18.30.
