The key objective of COMHAFAT is to promote an active and organized cooperation in the area of fisheries management and development in the eastern and south eastern Atlantic Africa coastal region. COMHAFAT members include: Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Congo, Cte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Morocco, Mauritania, Namibia, Nigeria, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo.
