Stop Illegal fishing

The commitment to stop illegal fishing already exists in Southern Africa. Countries, organisations and individuals are fighting illegal fishing on a daily basis. The Stop Illegal Fishing programme brings new international support to this fight. The Programme aims to facilitate a coherent regional commitment to tackling illegal fishing between the SADC coastal Member States of Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Tanzania.
